The Montecito Bowed Up and the Slowroll Hype Poker Card Tricks
Being able to perform a poker trick is a great achievement to most poker professionals. Not all poker players have the ability to do some tricks while they are in the middle of games. Hence, it is really impressive and attractive if you are one of the few players or gamblers that are able to perform tricks that use poker cards.
The Montecito Bowed Up is an advanced poker card trick. The objective for performing the trick is to create an illusion that your cards are flipping all by themselves. This trick can be applied during games as soon as it is your turn to show your cards to other players. To perform this trick the players should have two cards that are faced-down.
Rest your left hand at the table and put the cards in your palm. Pretend that you are looking at your cards for the last time and carefully slid your fingers under the cards without the others noticing it. With the use of your middle finger and thumb at the left hand, hold the cards tightly. You should apply a pressure at the bottom card and push it downwards to allow the top card to flip on the table. Again, apply pressure to the last card and with the help of the first finger slowly push the card towards the table. This movement will allow the remaining card to be flipped.
Another advanced card trick to be performed is known as the slowroll hype trick. Two cards are also used in this trick. Hold the cards with your fingertips and move your hand upside down which will reveal the value of the bottom card. Move your hand back in the first position and hold the edge of the bottom card with your thumb.
Carefully push the bottom card forward but hold the remaining card with your first finger. Pretend that you are about to push the bottom card on the table in a faced down position. However, with the use of your first finger apply pressure to the remaining card and push it forward which will make an impression that it is the card that you have already shown to other players. Lastly, move your hand upside down which will allow you to reveal the bottom card.
The Montecito Bowed Up and the slowroll hype card tricks are harder to perform as compared with other poker tricks. Players who want to perform them are assured that they will impress their opponents if the card tricks are done successfully. Hence, players should first practice and master the tricks before they perform them in actual games.
