The Ribbon Spread Poker Trick
Restore the excitement that was once felt by poker players in actual games by doing some extravagant and fantastic poker tricks. Poker tricks range from simple chip tricks to advanced flourishes. It is impressive to know that some of the most popular players in the world of poker are exploring and learning the different poker tricks to make their games more exciting than before. Some of these tricks are very easy to perform so beginners should not worry that they may not be able to learn to do those acts.
Chip tricks are the most prominent kind of poker tricks performed in games while flourishes are the least used tricks in some poker events. Flourishes can only be performed during the times when players are waiting for the next cards to be distributed or while the dealer is still shuffling the deck. Even if flourishes are rarely done, if you can do the tricks well, other players will be impressed and amazed by your acts.
The ribbon spread trick falls under flourishes. This trick is very attractive but the basic steps followed to perform it excellently are not complicated as what most poker players think. The aim for performing the ribbon spread trick is to spread and flip the cards in a stylish and unique method.
In performing this trick, the first step to do is to hold the entire deck of cards using your thumb at one end and the middle and ringers at the opposite end while supporting the long side of the deck with your first finger. When all the mentioned fingers are in the appropriate position carefully spread the cards in the deck by sliding the deck to the right one by one.
Use your first finger, middle finger and the thumb to tilt the first card at the left end. The first finger should be positioned in the middle of the card while the thumb and the middle finger support the card at its short ends. Once the card has been tilted slowly remove your middle finger and thumb from the cards and move your middle finger to the succeeding cards to the right side of the first card.
If you have performed the act well, the cards in the deck will be faced up one by one and will create an illusion that the cards are creating a wave. Practicing this trick regularly will help you master the act and do it perfectly in front of other people. Always remember that no poker trick will be performed well if players are not diligent enough to practice them.
